Clan SJS was formed in 1979 by Dr. Fouad Jureidini. The "clan" members were a group of young men, aged between 17 and above, who followed a certain discipline of life. Their emblem was the "fourche" and their motto was "servir" and their choice was to help and to serve always.

At the age of 8, I wanted to get involved in some extracurricular activity. Learn the piano, practice basketball, master taekwondo… I was lost, but I don't know how and why, one day I was going to scouts. At first, it was a shock: I had to work hard before having fun? I had to follow discipline? However, I got used to it, and the years passed. Now, more than 15 years later, looking back opens up my heart: I have many wonderful memories, from camps and hikes, to crazy adventures and voluntary work, but that's not it. I look back with awe and respect to all those people who helped me along the way, listened to my problems, gave me advice, spent their time helping people like me, and for what? Just to see me grow to help out others. I am Proud with what I am, a responsible and sociable person, with a great health and a useful dexterity, having a sincere character and a serious embrace of spirituality. In other words, I have the 5 goals of scouts planted in me. I am proud with what I am, I am proud with the people I'm helping out, I am proud of all those who came before me, and all those to come;
